Hey! I’m Ren
I help repeat launchers understand the story their data is telling them.
"Working with Ren was such a breath of fresh air during our busy launches. She has this knack for asking the right questions and cutting straight to what really matters in the messaging."
—Rachel Fernandez Hansen, Launch Manager, OBM
Two things I know for sure
Numbers without a story get ignored.
Stories without numbers lack direction.
I know this because I lived on both sides of that equation for years.
Eight years analyzing HR data for billion-dollar software companies taught me how to find the signal in a mess of numbers. Fifteen-plus years as a storyteller taught me what to do with it once you find it.
And so when I moved into launch copywriting, I kept seeing the same thing. Repeat launchers sitting on a goldmine of data from their last launch... and walking away from it without really understanding what it was saying.
Who opened every email but never clicked.
Who showed up to the masterclass but ghosted at checkout.
Which objections kept coming up in DMs.
It was all there. Just waiting for someone who could read it.
But this is where most people guess…
So they'd debrief, make a list of everything that might have gone wrong, and change a bunch of stuff before the next launch. Most of the time they'd end up back at square one, constantly reinventing the wheel for the next launch.
That's the gap I work in.
The between-launch window, where the real launch story lives.
When you understand what your data is actually telling you, you don't guess. You know.
Here's what people who've worked with me say
"Ren's ability to write copy in a voice that feels like us captured our clients' real struggles and connected them to our solutions."
— Hildur M. Jónsdóotir, Hildur's Health Mastery
"She asked great questions, and took it upon herself to really dig into my podcasts & course to learn about exactly what I teach. Then she used MY voice to create an extensive sales page."
— Pat Blackwell, Jewish Party Maven & Course Creator
A little more about me
I’ve lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since college but I was raised in Central California, where you know you’ve arrived when you can smell the cows.
My ideal morning starts with a warm hojicha latte: it tastes a little like hot cocoa but with sesame. If you know, you know.
I ran the Tokyo Marathon (see photo) thinking I’d be one and done… I’m not.
I produce a Christian podcast called Making Changes, about the changes people make it in their lives with God by their side.
I'm obsessed with Thai food: like, will-travel-for-food.
Secret about me? I read celebrity gossip. I don't even care about celebrities, but I will absolutely read the entire article anyway.
I'm a bit of a WW2 history nerd. One day I want to write historical fiction about WW2 in the Philippines.
And if you’re wondering who Wendell & Rose is? They’re my grandparents. I’ll tell you more about them later.
So, how about it?
You've met me. Now let’s talk about you.
